Special effects make-up artist turned expert lash technician turned business owner, Candice Catron is redefining the industry's beauty standards as an esthetician in Huntington Beach. Candice is the founder and creator of Stay Beautiful Society and has been breaking down the traditional beauty industry norms as a licensed esthetician since 2007 all while raising two beautiful boys.

Ever since the tender age of 9 years old, Candice was already heavily inspired for face and body painting. As a kid, you could find her painting kid's faces and loving every minute of it. This passion followed her well into her adult life, when at the age of 18 she met Gina Burrous, a then recent graduate from MUD, who became her mentor and taught her how to do make-up, special effects and body painting.

Little did Candice know that this mentorship was preparing her for her first big opportunity to pursue her passion of creative beauty as a form of art and self-expression. At the encouragement of her mentor, she decided to apply to Knott's Scary Farm as a Special Effects Make-up Artist. With only 3 days to compile a portfolio, she applied and thanks to Denice Paxton, she got the job and began honing in on both her talents and efficiency.

After this experience, Candice decided to go back to cosmetology school, where she met Alista Sanchez, her now business sister. Together they run their own independent businesses under the same roof where they help and encourage one another daily. It was here that Candice began transition from special effects make-up into the lash expert she is today. She started working at Maranello where she fell in love with lashes and became a certified esthetician instructor teaching lash extension workshops.

Shortly after leaving Maranello, Candice began working in various shops as a lash extension artist where she continued to grow her personal skillset and network of successful female influences such as Loe Bolton, Marissa Torres, and Ronica Cabrera of OC Spa to name a few. In 2015, Candice started her journey as a PMU artist, taking microblading and powder brow courses, training with Everlasting Brows under Jenn Boyd Ink and shadowing Jackie of Sedux Studio and Tifini Hartman, owner of Beauty by Tifini Skin + Brow Bar.
