TAACH Pathology was founded by Dr. Ted Khachaturian in the laboratory at Phoenix St. Luke's Hospital in 1996. In October of 2007, we moved to the medical office building at the St. Luke's Campus. We are an independent lab specializing in Gastrointestinal Surgical Pathology. Dr. Khachaturian and his associates have over 50 years of experience in GI and general surgical pathology and examine approximately 25,000 GI biopsies annually. Our excellent service and reputation in GI and general surgical pathology has gained us the trust of over a dozen endoscopy and surgical centers and over 80 gastroenterologists, colorectal and general surgeons.
We perform a wide array of services including:
- Histology and routine specimen processing
- Immunohistochemistry
- Cytology
- Microbiology
- Crystal Analysis
In addition, we provide the following:
- Daily courier service for specimen pick-up
- On-line or traditional paper requisitions
- Formalin containers and hazard bags
- 24 hour turn-around time for routine biopsies
- Direct communication (by phone) of any significant diagnosis
- Report delivery, (per your preference) via Web, Fax, courier service, or UPS
- Interface to your EMR
