Apples - With apples at the top of many people's list, one apple of note is the Honey Crisp. It has the sweetness of a Fuji or Gala, with the tartness of a Granny Smith, and with all the crispness the name of the apple suggests.
Autumn - Fall produce makes me think of hot soups and spicy desserts. But that's not all: Tennessee fall greens are beginning to arrive. Mums and winter gourds, including pumpkins and heirloom hard squash, are locally available in Autumn.
