Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

Thrive Naturopathic was founded by Dr. Christopher Johnson in 2008 to provide the highest level of holistic care available anywhere. We do this by getting to the root cause of your health issues - providing your body with what it needs, eliminating harmful factors, stimulating the healing capacity of your body and empowering you with life-long knowledge of your ideal diet and lifestyle.

Christopher Johnson, ND is the founder and owner of Thrive Naturopathic. He is a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences

(SCNM). The program at SCNM is an accredited, 4-year, post-graduate education resulting in the degree Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Johnson is a native of Alexandria, VA. He went to TC Williams High School and did his undergraduate studies at UVA (Religious Studies).

The story bringing Dr. Johnson to naturopathic medicine began with his own experience of chronic illness, brought on in part by occupational exposure to toxic chemicals.

Unable to find help in conventional medicine, he turned to holistic therapies such as homeopathy, nutritional and botanical supplementation as well as making dietary and lifestyle changes, to regain his health.

"I know what it's like to be sick, not getting answers, not knowing where to turn and being told 'all the tests look normal.' I know what it's like to have brain fog, fatigue, headaches, IBS and more and to feel like your body is broken. And I also know what it is like to waste lots of money and years of your life on treatments that don't work - both conventional and holistic.
