toyland is currently entering it's 61st. year of operation. we enjoy an unblemished record and a long lasting positive reputation in the community!

toyland, a family business, was started by sophya rudnick and is currently operated by her son steve. toyland was not only one of the first daycare centers open to the public but was a rarity as a successful business owned and operated by a woman at its start in 1949. toyland has literally taken care of thousands of children and their respective families since it's inception.

toyland is centrally located on western ave, in albany. our entrance is at 2 south pine ave.

our motto is "thoughtful childcare" we endeavor to provide strong positive values, mixed with a high quality educational curriculum, combined with a loving environment (the most important ingredient of all).
