Don joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP after graduating from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. As managing partner, Don is responsible for the overall operations of the firm. He is also chair of the firm's Management Committee and serves on the firm's Construction and Governmental Practice Groups as well as the Quality Control and Information Technology Committees.

As a professional, Don has completed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational Achievement Program and currently serves on the Special Review Committee for the Government Finance Officers Association.

Don is active in community activities benefiting both Lancaster County and the Strasburg area community.
